SoulTech Studios presents Music for Life
A new concept in music education
Music for Life program is weekly music lessons provided by the teacher for an individual student in one of the following instruments: guitar, piano/keyboard, bass guitar, drums, and vocals. The student may be accompanied by the student’s carer, a social worker or in some cases a companion who is deemed appropriate and this person may also take part in the music lesson.
After a basic level of competency on an instrument is achieved, students can begin musical collaborations with their teacher and other students. Eventually the students will form musical groups with each other based on their level of ability and preference in styles of music. Some students may choose to be a solo artist or just develop their skills for their own enjoyment.
In addition to private tuition, Music for Life also offers workshops on music industry related topics such as live and recorded music production, music business and artist management, DJ and MC skills, and clinics featuring guest artists and relating to specific instruments and/or musical genres. SoulTech can also host in-house concerts where students can showcase their skills and develop an understanding of live music production and performance.
