SoulTech Studios is an organisation that aims to empower individuals through musical collaboration and performance. Music has a profound effect on the human psyche and is an effective tool in developing a positive self-identity as well as fostering cultural awareness in the community. SoulTech provides an environment where young people and disadvantaged members of the community can express themselves and collaborate with each other in musical endeavours.
SoulTech Studios is a learning hub that has a strong focus on social inclusion. It is particularly beneficial for marginalised and disaffected individuals to have a sense of belonging in the community. SoulTech provides an opportunity for its clients to access a personalised service and receive guidance from professional musicians and educators. The social environment at SoulTech is based on inclusiveness, enthusiasm, individualism, teamwork, and artistic expression.
Purpose and Goals
SoulTech Studios provides a friendly and secure environment for learning and socialising with people from every walk of life and a common interest in music. SoulTech is the ideal meeting point for individuals who suffer from mental illness, newly arrived immigrants, indigenous youth, and young people who are experiencing poor academic performance. Anthony will liaise with service providers to ensure that a student’s particular needs are being met and devise strategies to optimise their experience.
SoulTech Studios is seeking to establish a referral process with schools, welfare providers, and government agencies. These providers have regular contact with clients that would benefit greatly from the objectives and operational structure of SoulTech. Students at SoulTech would be financially sponsored by a supporting agency to attend weekly lessons during the secondary school terms.
The supporting agency will be appraised of the student’s commitment and progress with lessons by communicating with Anthony whenever relevant issues arise and to determine the best course of action for delivering a musical program which responds to the student’s personal attributes. Anthony has twenty years’ experience working alongside teachers, social workers, psychologists, and health care professionals in developing a learning environment which inspires creativity and uninhibited self-expression.
